This motif came from a Senegalese earring that my father gifted my mother when I was a child. I’ve used the design in many of my jewelry pieces along with my sculptures. It feels deeply intertwined with my practice.

All Florence Jean jewelry is created from precious metals (ie. solid 14k gold or sterling silver). Jewelry can be worn in water and will develop a natural patina with time. We recommend removing jewelry when doing heavy activity to avoid damage.
