She has lived here in the studio since 1990 with Emilio up until he passed in 2004.

Patricia is a dear friend who I’ve connected with through jewelry over the past couple of years. Although we bonded over our love for jewelry design, Pat has taught me so much about the world and friendship.

Much of my creative practice is centered around memory. My goal is to emphasize physical relics' importance for cultural, familial, and spiritual longevity. With my jewelry, my aim is to document and highlight the idea of looking back to move forward.

Meeting Patricia has been such a delight in finding my own voice & intention. She is an avid collector of art, jewelry, books and an example of how important knowing your own history & actively documenting is to knowing oneself. I am honored to have her captured in jewelry.
